Universal Studios has made an important decision and changed their operating hours for both Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure theme parks in Orlando.
The parks were originally operating every day from 9 AM to 6 PM. Starting in the month of August, Universal Studios will be closing an hour early and operating from 9 AM to 5 PM. Meanwhile, over at Islands of Adventure the theme park will be opening an hour later than usual, and will be operating from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Universal Studios will still continue to use numerous safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus, and keep their guests healthy. These measures are, mandatory mask requirements for ages 2+, temperature screening at entry, sanitation stations, plexi-glass boarders and mandatory physical distancing in all the parks. Guests are also only allowed to remove their masks while eating or drinking in the parks.
In my previous blog, I was discussing how the Universal Company had announced to the public that their “Halloween Horror Nights” Halloween event will not take place this year as coronavirus cases are rising across the entire country.
