Today, I have some sad news for all Universal Studios and Halloween fans! As coronavirus cases rise across the United States, and we are just months away from the fall season, Universal made the decision to delay the Halloween Horror Nights event that would take place in the fall.

On Friday, the Universal Studios company had announced that they will be canceling the very popular Halloween Horror Nights season and will currently not taking place in the fall at both Universal Studios Orlando, and Universal Studios in California parks.

The Universal spokesman stated, “We know this decision will disappoint our fans and guest. We are disappointed, too. But we look forward to creating an amazing event in 2021.”

The Universal Studios theme parks will continue to operate it’s theme parks for daytime guests and continue using enhanced physical distancing, face mask, temperature screening, reduced touch areas, plexiglass borders, and sanitization safety procedures.
