The Walt Disney World Resort is a great place to be for the holidays as it is always decorated beautifully and really gets you in the holiday spirit! Every year, Disney hosts a “Halfway to the Holidays” event in June, revealing new details on the upcoming joyful events that will be taking place at the Disney Parks during the holiday season! Today, Disney had just announced new details for the upcoming Disney Park holiday celebrations!

Today as part of “Halfway to the Holidays” event, Disney executives announced the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom and unveiled a brand-new “Disney Jollywood Nights” event for Disney’s Hollywood Studios set for this holiday season.
“Disney’s Jollywood Nights” will be a separately ticketed event for Disney’s Hollywood Studios that will take place on select nights from November 11 to December 20, 2023, from 8:30pm – 12:30am. Here are some new details about this new event that were revealed today:
Celebrations
To begin, guests attending the “Disney’s Jollywood Nights” event will enjoy a variety of fan-favorite holiday tunes with a DJ mix flare, including a lively Latin Street Fair at Commissary Lane. Guests attending the event can also enjoy themselves at the limited capacity jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby or at an “other-wordly” soiree at The Hollywood Tower Courtyard.
In addition to these amazing musical experiences, guests are also invited to the Hyperion Theater for a spirited sing-along that’s guaranteed to spread holiday cheer and get you in the holiday spirit! And if that’s not your thing, you can also meet Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy at Theater of the Stars, alongside some of their Muppet friends!
If you’re looking for something other than musical activities, you can enjoy a fantastic spirited nighttime spectacular at Sunset Boulevard as “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” will be returning this year! “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” is a Santa-sized nighttime spectacular that utilizes jam-packed holiday music, fireworks, special effects and noteworthy digital projections!
Guests will have access to After-hours for some fan-favorite rides and coasters like Slinky Dog Dash, Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and more. Please note: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will still utilize the virtual queue system.
Lastly, here’s some amazing news! If you take any photos during the event using Disney PhotoPass’ holiday-themed Magic Shots or the two new Disney PhotoPass experiences throughout the night, complimentary digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the event are included with the price of your ticket.

“Disney Jollywood Nights” is a limited-capacity holiday event. According to the Walt Disney World website, guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can buy tickets starting June 29. Tickets may be purchased by all guests starting July 6 via the Walt Disney World website with ticket prices ranging from $159 – $179 per person.
