Since Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm, the Walt Disney Company has focused very heavily on the ‘Star Wars’ IP, spawning four theatrical films, 2 Star Wars themed lands, 3 Star Tours attractions, and a handful of Disney+ original series.
Recently, at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, it was announced that the ‘Star Tours: The Adventures Continue’ attractions at Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and the Walt Disney World Resort would be getting updates in 2024.
Let’s get into it!
During the Disney Parks panel at SWCE 2023, several Imagineers took the stage to discuss upcoming developments in the Disney Parks worldwide, and announced new additions to the Star Tours attraction coming soon in 2024.
It was teased that soon guests will be able to visit several new destinations based on new locations from the “Mandoverse” and recent theatrical films, as they’re transported through a galaxy far, far, away within their shuttles! However, no additional announcements on the new destinations have been announced yet, however, we will keep you posted.
