Recently, Disney has announced details for it’s upcoming “Destination D23” fan event, which will be taking place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort from September 8, 2023 to September 10, 2023. At this fan-favorite event, there will be many “exciting new announcements” and special looks into upcoming projects from around the world. It will also feature special guests, familiar faces, behind-the-scenes stories, a special party, and much more!
Let’s get into it!
The “Destination D23” event is a smaller biennial event that alternates with the “D23 Expo” event, which takes place in Anaheim, California, and has been running since 2010. Similar to the 2021 event, guests will watch a presentation about what’s new and upcoming for Disney Parks and Disney+, and can participate in a special Disney+ party held on the final day of the event. For fans around the world, the Disney+ Download event will be live streamed onto YouTube for all fans to enjoy, but not all panels will be live streamed.
Unfortunately, this event will not feature as many announcements as the D23 Expo, but hopefully we will get to see a few announcements about the future of Disney+ from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Nat Geo and 20th Century Studios!
No ticket details have been announced, but I will make sure to keep you all posted!
