In 2008, Marvel officially kicked-off the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the release on Iron Man, quickly followed by many other films, with the universe continuing to grow non-stop! Since the first film, Marvel Studios has released 30 films, 2 specials and 9 series so far, with 12 more films on the way!
There are several ways you can watch Marvel projects:
- Release Order – Order projects were released in cinemas or on Disney+.
- MCU Timeline Order – Order which the events took place.
- Other Orders – Whatever order you want to watch!
Let’s get into it!
Please Note: Some films are missing from the timeline orders due to distribution rights. Universal currently has the distribution rights for The Incredible Hulk and Sony currently has the distribution rights to the newest Spider-Man trilogy. However, Disney signed a distribution deal with Sony a few months ago, and hopefully soon after some pre-existing contracts end, some of these Marvel films will finally become available on Disney+.
