This morning, Disney unveiled their updated film release schedule for 2023-2029. Unfortunately, several of the changes in the release schedule come after the Blade’s production was announced to be delayed temporarily, as the studio searches for a new director.
Let’s get into it!
Among these new changes, Blade has moved from November 3, 2023 to November 6, 2024, with Deadpool 3 moved from September 6, 2024 to November 8, 2024, and Fantastic Four also moved from November 8, 2024 to February 14, 2025. Lastly, Avengers: Secret Wars, the first part of the upcoming Avengers team-up will now debut on May 5, 2026 instead of its original release date.
Marvel has also announced the removal of the untitled film listing for May 1, 2026 and added an untitled listing for November 7, 2025.
Not to worry! Other upcoming films including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3, The Marvels and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty still remain on schedule as planned.
In addition, 20th Century Studios has updated their release listings with a few new titles added, let’s take a look! Titles added today include, Chevalier (April 7, 2023), A Haunting in Venice (September 15, 2023) and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (May 24, 2024).
