During 2020, many gatherings and events including Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party were cancelled, all due to the widespread pandemic at the time.
However, Disney has announced that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will finally make its magical return this holiday season at Walt Disney World.
Let’s get into it!
This year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take place select 24 nights from November 8 – December 22, 2022. Since this is a separately ticketed after hours event, each guest will have to purchase tickets exclusively for the celebration if you wish to attend.
Event Dates (Select Nights)
- November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
- December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22
This year, “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” stage show and “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks!” shows are returning with select showtimes. The stage show will take place in front of the Cinderella Castle with Mickey and his friends, featuring classic holiday medleys and fun dance performances. The firework show will feature projections, special fireworks and seasonal songs!
Also returning this year is the “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,” featuring Mickey, his friends and Santa Claus!
Holiday overlays to certain attractions during after hours will also take place. These attraction overlays will include the Jungle Cruise, Mad Tea Party, Monsters Inc. Laught Floor, Space Mountain and the Tomorrowland Speedway.
Other resorts in the area are also expected to be themed with plenty of seasonal offerings during this time as well.
Tickets are now on sale and cost $149 – $199 per person, and guests can purchase tickets online.
