The LEGO Con event started in 2021 with a virtual event due to the pandemic, where the LEGO Company had announced many upcoming sets and minifigures coming to stores around the world including brands from Disney, Universal, Warner Bros and more! LEGO Con 2022 will be held in a similar fashion to LEGO Con 2021, but with more announcements, guest appearances, and interactive audience experiences.

Recently, it was announced that the LEGO Con 2022 will be held from January 8 to January 9, 2021. It is still unclear if this event will remain virtual or if it will be in-person this year, but you can still expect it to be an extremely interesting experience regardless! This event will feature guest appearances similar to 2021 with NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, LEGO set reveals from various brands such as Star Wars, and interactive guests experiences similar to the Minecraft minifigure design poll in 2021.
At LEGO Con 2021, the company revealed a surprise LEGO Star Wars set, and had a LEGO Ideas announcement. In 2022 fans of the building bricks can predict that the company will provide reveals and announcements for many LEGO brands such as LEGO Minifigures, LEGO Architecture, LEGO Ideas, LEGO City, LEGO Friends, LEGO Ninjago, LEGO DOTS, LEGO Duplo, DC, Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Minecraft, and Super Mario. However, at this event they could also announce unexpected sets based on upcoming films such as Sesame Street, Lightyear, Indiana Jones 5, Avatar 2, Turning Red, etc.
