Disneyland Is Finally Reopening in April

Disneyland as well as the neighboring Disney’s California Adventure park closed in March 2020 due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, and have remained closed ever since. Recently California’s state government and local health officials had made an agreement, and officially announced the Disneyland reopening plan. Today, I will be sharing the in-depth details and what you need to know about this reopening plan!

Let’s get into it!

Last week, California state officials had announced that Disneyland was set to reopen on April 30, 2021. However, the theme park will only reopen if Orange County was in the “red tier”, and with health restrictions set in place.

Disneyland will reopen with social 6-feet social distancing, face mask requirements, hand sanitizer stations, relaxation stations (where you can remove masks safely), plexi-glass borders and limited capacity on attractions/in in restaurants. Face masks are only allowed to be removed when eating, drinking, or when in the relaxation station areas. If you do not follow the Coronavirus guidelines the parks require, you will be asked to leave by a cast member (like at Disney World).

It is still unknown when entertainment, fireworks, 100% park & restaurant capacity will return completely to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, but I will make sure to keep you all up-to-date!
